CONSTRUCTION
The cast aluminum door frame and housing form an integral heavy-duty luminaire suited for harsh environments. The fixture door opens downward for full access to all of the internal components including the self-contained (LEDs and power supply) removable LED driver tray. If maintenance is needed, just pop out the tray and replace it with a new spare tray. The door is secured to the luminaire with (2) stainless steel spring latches and integral cast aluminum hinges with stainless steel pins. Optional pull-style hinge pines are available for tool-less removal.
LENS
The optically clear LED lens is offered in both Type III and Type V distributions- with a microfinished reflector assembly. The lens is 1/4″ thick clear tempered glass sealed into the door frame.
LED LIGHT ENGINE
The UL-listed LED light engines are manufactured in MagniFlood’s MAG-LED automated pick-and-place facility. These engines combine CREE High Power XML LEDs, proprietary board design, and precise thermal management, to provide better-LED life by controlling variations in environmental temperature. Mate-in-Loc quick disconnects separate the power from the LED tray. Drivers are 120~277V ready. The fixture is designed to easily replace the components.
MOUNTING
The luminaire is mounted using slotted brackets which allow the fixture to be positioned for short or long forward throw light patterns. Custom brackets are available to fit special mounting requirements.
