Large Area Lights
The Metropolitan 2 is cast from copper-free 443 alloy aluminum and threads onto a 1-1/2” NPT pipe. The top of the luminaire has a cast hub with flats to assist in tightening the luminaire onto the mounting pipe. The lens is prismatic polycarbonate with Type III or Type V lighting distribution. Fixture is UL-listed for wet conditions.

CONSTRUCTION
The Metropolitan v2 is cast from copper-free 443 alloy aluminum, and features a removable ballast tray, and MagniFlood’s toolless rotolock lens with decorative cast guard. All hardware is corrosion-resistant. External hardware is stainless steel.
LENS
A conical prismatic lens with a Type V distribution is sealed into the hinged case door frame.
LED LIGHT ENGINE
MagniFlood’s unparalleled light engine design is the best in the industry. Our engineers have developed a heat-dissipating technology that increases LED life dramatically. These engines can also be replaced without having to remove the luminaire. The luminaire is manufactured to meet the 1598 UL listing. All luminaires are pre-wired and factory tested. The LED engines operate from 120 volts to 265 volts (277 volts available on request). The engine concentrates its light onto a specially-designed specular reflector to give an even distribution with full cut off.
MOUNTING
The Metropolitan v2 mounts on 1-1/2″ tapered pipe thread. The top of the luminaire incorporates a cast hub with flats to tighten the luminaire onto the mounting pipe. Single and double-mounting arms and poles are available from the factory.
